Intra-articular
corticosteroid injection - injection of coticosteroid medication
directly into a joint.
Dorsal medial branch nerve block - Highly specific local anesthetic
injection that blocks pain signals sent by joints through nerves
to the brain. This is done to predict if longer relief can be
accomplished with neurotomies.
Neurotomies by radio-frequency - a minimally invasive procedure
that lightly burns the dorsal medial branch nerves to provide
many months of pain relief from arthritic pain of the back or
neck.
